Types of Contextual Clues
The meaning of the word is in the sentence itself
#1 Definition clue
A word with a meaning similar to another word
#2 Synonym clue
A word with a meaning opposite to another word
#3 Antonym clue
Uses examples to help explain the meaning of the word

Try your best to use the words that are IN THE TEXT when searching for meaning
It can occur before the word (anaphoric), or after the word (cataphroic)
