Most people vote as a Democrat or Republican. You can also vote as an Independent. Let's take a look at the difference!

Democrats are liberal. They feel that people should be free to make choices that feel right for them. They feel everyone should be included.

Democrats also believe in the government helping people if they need it. Democrats are represented by a donkey.

Republicans are conservative. They feel people should not be too wild. Republicans feel that the government should not help other too much.

They feel churches can help others. They also feel that businesses should be able to make their own rules. They use the elephant as their symbol.
