Let's look at the sentences in Group 1
Do you realise that there is always someone or something ‘doing’ the actions in Group 1?
In Group 1, the verbs have different endings like ‘-ed’ and ‘-ing’.
Sentences in Group 1 are used to tell someone something.

There isn’t a person or thing mentioned. In fact, it sounds like someone is asking you to do something!
In Group 2, the verbs are all in the base form.
Sentences in Group 2 are used when we want to tell someone to do something.
