Explain Changes in Tire Pressure
CLAIM, EVIDENCE, REASONING

Mechanics recommend that you should inflate tires to the correct pressure. They also say that if you need to check the air pressure, then you should do so before the car is driven. If you inflate tires to the recommended pressure before you drive the car and then check them again when the air in them has been warmed by friction during a long drive, you may find that the pressure is greater after the drive, even though no gas was added.
