There are four types of sentences.
declarative
interrogative
imperative
exclamative

Declarative Sentences
it is a sentence that makes a statement, provides a fact, offers an explanation, or conveys information.
They usually end in a period.
They are the most common sentences.
Ex:
A dog has four legs.
I like coffee.

Interrogative Sentences
These sentences ask a question.
They want information
They always end in a question mark (?).
Ex:
Where are my keys?
What time is dinner?

Imperative Sentences
A sentence that expresses a direct command, request, invitation, warning, or instruction.
They usually end in an exclamation mark (!) but also can end in a period.
Ex:
Do not stop!
Do not give her coffee.

Exclamative Sentences
These sentences express strong emotion or surprise.
They end in an exclamation point (!).
Ex:
That was amazing!
What an amazing story he told us!
