This is the Earth, its where we live.
The Earth looks like a blue ball and it is often called the 'Blue Marble.'
The Earth appears blue because most of its surface is covered with water.
There is water in oceans, rivers, lakes and streams.

So, there are three (3) states of water altogether.
Solid Ice
Liquid Water
Water Vapour Gas

SOLID ICE
These are examples of water in SOLID state. Solid means it is hard and has a shape and size.

These are examples of water in LIQUID state.

These are examples of water in GAS state. When water is heated, the water changes to steam and water vapour.
