Didunakan untuk membandingkan 2 hal yang memiliki sifat ‘lebih’ dibanding hal lainnya, oleh karena itu digunakan adjective/adverb + -er atau more + adjective/adverb. Misalnya, “You run faster than him.” memiliki arti kamu berlari lebih cepat.

ONE – SYLLABLE WORD ADJECTIVE + ER
