What is the status of your PSA project? Are you ready to begin editing and revising?

• My PSA script and slides are complete. I have already checked them against the rubric, and I do not think I need to make many changes.

• My PSA script and slides are complete. I need to check them more thoroughly against the rubric, and I probably need to make some changes today.

• My PSA script and slides are not complete. I need to finish up the content of my script or the design of my slides before I make revisions.

• I am not close to completing my PSA script and slides. (Please reach out to your teacher if this is the case!)

• Your PSA Project will be graded on these 6 components:

  • overall organization

  • content

  • word choice and style

  • conventions

  • MLA format

  • presentation

• If you would like to look at a copy of the rubric, download a copy on page 3 of today's edio lesson

Rubric

• In order to submit your best work possible, you should proofread it for errors and compare it to the grading requirements.

• While you are reviewing your script and slides, ask yourself: Am I missing something?

• Now is the time to make any changes before you record your voice-over in the next lesson.

PSA Revisions

Revise and Edit

• Pause here to open your PSA script and slides

• Use the checklist to evaluate your work against the rubric

• Check off each completed item as you evaluate your script and slides

• After you finish, whatever you did not check off needs to be revised!

• The rest of class is independent work time for you to be revising and editing your PSA Project

• Make sure to save your work when you are finished!

• In the next lesson we will be recording the voiceover, so make sure your presentation is complete before then!

• If you finish with class time left over, you have choice time! You can be working on iReady, Silent Reading, Get Help from Mrs. Massack, or Overdues
