Imagine your country just came out of a massive war. Your country lost 10% of your territory, your country is forced to pay millions of dollars to the countries that won the war, your country isn't allowed to have a military anymore and the people of your country are left in poverty. All this and your country's government does nothing to help you out and does nothing to make the situation better.
Along comes a young new face in politics and is promising to bring your country back to prominance. They promise to make the country rich again by building new infrastructure, reinforcing the military and even revovering the land you lost. They also assure you that the war and its fall out wasn't your country's fault. They assure you that your country is in a bad place because of mistakes from the previous government and other people that want to see your country and your people fail.
Would you support this person if they were running for president?
