Solids - the keep their shape
Liquids- flow and take the shape of their container
Gases- spread out and fill the space around them

What is Strenght when it comes to matter?
Some objects are strong and do not break easily
Examples of this are metal, bricks, and a wooden table

What is Flexibility when it comes to matter?
Some objects can bend and move without breaking
Examples of this are rubber bands, plastic rulers, and gym mats

What is Hardness when it comes to matter?
Some things are very hard and difficult to scratch or break
Examples of this are diamonds, glass, and hard rocks

What is Texture when it comes to matter?
Texture is how something feels when you touch it
Examples
-Soft (cotton, fur)
-Rough (sandpaper, tree bark)
-Smooth (glass, marble)

What is Absorbency when it comes to matter?
Some material soak up water, while others do not
Examples of Absorbent are a sponge of paper towel
Examples of Non Absorbent are plastic or metal
