Hi Katie and Pippa! I hope you're not busy Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August. Brett Beach Surfing Club is having a family fun weekend. My mum and dad want to take me and two of my friends. I'd love you both to come. We're taking a tent so we can stay at the beach.
It's perfect for you both. There are loads of different activities happening - waterskiing, horse riding, kite surfing, and swimming and running races. There's a diving trip on Sunday morning, too. You can try all of the activities, and some of them are free. You only pay for the horse riding, waterskiing and diving trip.
78
Unit 7: Adventure Holidays
Workbook
There are also activities in the evenings. On Saturday, there's an evening trip on a beautiful old wooden boat called The Blue Adventure. You go out to sea and have dinner on the boat, 'watching the stars, the sea animals playing and the pretty lights along the coast' (that's what it says on the website!). And later some bands are playing on the beach. It all looks really cool. What do you think?
I really hope you can come. You won't need to bring a lot our tent's big and we've got all the camping kit.
79
Unit 7: Adventure Holidays
Workbook
You'll just need to bring your sleeping bag, your swimming costume and a few clothes in your backpack. Mum will bring loads of towels and things like that for us all. Here's the website link so you can see more: www.bbsc.com/bigfamfun. Let me know what you think soon!
Lots of love, Erin
