Guided Expectations

Remember that the expectation in guided is that you are fully participating and active in the guided lesson! If you have your camera off and are not responsive in the chat, Wayground, or on your mic, you will be moved to the Waiting Room. "Guided ghosts" will be expected to complete the lesson on Edio so you don't miss out on all materials!

There are 2 ways to get your name on the prize wheel:

• Input: The device that communicates information to your computer

• Output: The device that communicates the digital playback

• Acoustic Instruments: instruments that do not have any sort of electronic or digital assistance and can create sound on their own

Caring for your keyboard

Your MIDI keyboard is a musical instrument like any other that requires care! 

 

Helpful Tips: 

 

• Keep it in a safe space! 

• Save the box your keyboard came in to use as a case! 

• Treat with respect! Do not slam or drop them!

• Plug in the cord carefully and correctly. Do not force anything. 

• Store the cord with the keyboard so it does not get lost.

Always plug in your midi keyboard before opening Chrome Music Lab. This will give you more success in creating a sound the first time.
