fry - smażyć, i.e. Fry pancakes in hot oil until they become crispy
mix - zmieszać, zmiksować (np. blenderem); i.e. Mix eggs, flour and water together
peel - obrać; i.e. Peel potatoes and carrots before chopping them
roast - piec (zwłaszcza mięso); i.e. They have Sunday roast on family holidays
slice - pokroić (zwykle na plastry), przekroić (np. chleb); You have to slice the bread before preparing sandwiches
add - dodać (jakiś składnik); i.e. add some sugar
bake - piec (w piekarniku); i.e. I baked a cheescake
beat - ubić (np. białka jajek); i.e. You have to beat egg whites to make souffles
boil - gotować (na kuchence) do momentu wrzenia; i.e. Boil some water before adding pasta to it.
chop - siekać (np. warzywa); i.e. Chop some cucumbers and add them to the salad
