Rising Sea Level

Rising sea levels will affect Some areas of PA, specifically those near the Chesapeake and Delaware Bay.

The airport in Philadelphia is at risk due to its low elevation and the fact that it is built on former islands of the Delaware River.

The airport's expansion project, costing $6.2 billion, has some phases already completed in order to combat the rising sea level.
