Suffix Rules (review)
When a verb ends in a consonant and y, change the y to i before adding ed.
When a verb of one syllable ends in a single consonant preceded by a single vowel, or of two or more syllables in which the accent falls on the last syllable, double the final consonant before adding ing or ed
When the verb ends in e, drop the e before adding ed or ing
