The Church Begins

Once upon a time the church began...

Jesus told them To not leave Jerusalem and wait for the gift of the Holy Spirit that they have heard him speaking about.

First Stop: Jerusalem

-Peter preached the 1st sermon and was healing.
-Stephen was spreading the word.

​On the streets of Jerusalem.....

​Stephen was martyred.....while Saul was spectating and instigating.

​On the streets of Jerusalem......

When Saul was on his way to Damascus, a Blinding Light from Heaven came down and he fell down. He heard God's voice, was healed after 3 days and eventually became Paul.​

In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha who had just died and other disciple heard that Peter was in Joppa they sent two man to go and find him. When Peter got to the room where Tabitha was he prayed and he said Tabitha get up and she opened her eyes

​An angel of the Lord told Philip to go the the Desert road-which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.

Disciples who had been disintegrated due to the victimization taking place after Stephen's death have traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus to spread the gospel amongst the Jews. However, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, traveled to Antioch to spread the gospel amongst the Greeks. Barnabus traveled to Antioch as well, motivating the Jews to remain faithful to the Lord.
