Ming: Sure. I hardly ever have activities after school. How about today?

Stig: Uh, I can't. I go to soccer practice

Ming: How about tomorrow?

Stig: Actually, I go to band practice on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and _ _ _ _ _ __.

Stig: Hmm ... Good question. How about Sunday?

Stig: Hey, what do you usually do after school? Let's hang out sometime.

1. Do you like these different activities?

• Positive Answer: "Yeah, I like most of them. I'm a big fan of playing soccer because I love being active and hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy listening to music because it helps me relax after a long day at school."

• Mixed Answer: "I like some of them, but not all. For example, I think playing the guitar is really cool, but I'm not really into watching TV. I'd rather do something more active."

2. Do you think walking the dog is fun?

• (+) Yes, definitely! I think it’s fun because you get to play outside with your pet. It's a great way to get fresh air and exercise.

• (-) Not really. For me, it feels more like a chore than a fun activity. You have to do it every day, even when you're tired or the weather is bad.

3. Do you think playing the guitar is interesting?

• (+) Absolutely. I think it's very interesting because you can learn to play your favorite songs. It's a really creative skill to have.

• (-) Honestly, no. It seems very difficult and you have to practice all the time. To me, that sounds a little boring.

4. Do you think watching TV is exciting?

• (+) It can be! If I'm watching a big soccer match or an action movie, it's definitely exciting. My heart beats really fast!

• (-) I wouldn't say exciting. I think watching TV is usually more relaxing than exciting. It's something I do to chill out, not to get excited.

5. Do you think listening to music is relaxing?

• (+) Yes, for sure. It's my favorite way to relax. After I finish my homework, I love putting on my headphones and just chilling out to some calm music.

• (-) It depends on the music. Listening to slow music is relaxing, but I usually listen to high-energy pop or rock music. That's not relaxing at all—it's energizing!
