​Advantages of Windows

  it offers graphical icons, visual indicators on its interface, rather than text-based interface called a Character User Interface (CUI)

• Easy to use and learn

• Multitasking

Search Option

1. Click Start Button

2. Type the file or folder name

3. While typing, the items matching your search text will appear in the Start Menu

1. Open Documents

2. Type the file name, or a word contained in the file

3. All files containing the word will be listed in the Search results. click on the chosen file to open it.

Run Option

​This option is used for executing a file or an application directly.

Run Option

1. Open Run dialog box.

2. Type Notepad.

3. Notepad will appear on the screen.

4. Try to open different applications by using Run.

Use Control Panel to change settings of Windows, such as Desktop color, time and language, mouse and keyboard settings etc.
