Some are composed of a single cell, while some have millions. If there are cells, it is a living thing.

Having a steady state. Humans have a steady state in the form of body temperature.

Energy allows living things to perform actions such as moving and growing.

Living things must grow. New features or grow in size.

Reproduction
Respond to a change in the environment. Trees changing their leaves with the seasons.

Large-scale changes within the population of organisms. These changes occur over a long period of time.
