Marie Curie was a very famous scientist. She was born in Poland in 1867. Since she was young, she loved to study and learn new things. Life was not easy for her, but she never gave up on education. She moved to France to continue her studies and to become a better scientist. In France, Marie met Pierre Curie, who also studied science. They worked together and made great discoveries. They found two new elements, polonium and radium. These discoveries were very important for science and for medicine. Marie Curie became the first woman to win a Nobel Prize. Later, she won a second Nobel Prize, something very rare. She is remembered today for her strong dedication and her important work in physics and chemistry. Her studies helped doctors and researchers to understand energy and use it to save lives.
