Characters - are the people, animals, or beings that keep the story going.
Example sentences:

Plot - the events or what happens in the story, usually with a beginning, middle, and end.
Example sentences:
One Saturday morning, the pupils of Grade 4 gathered in their classroom for the Clean-Up Drive. They worked together by sweeping the yard, planting trees, and arranging the trash bins. At the end of the day, the school looked clean and green, and everyone felt proud of their hard work.
