Tujuan Pembelajaran

• Siswa diharapkan mampu meminta dan memberi informasi tentang jati diri dan hubungan keluarga dengan menggunakan unsur bahasa ( pronoun, subjective, objective, possesive ) yang tepat sesuai konteks penggunaannya.

Pengertian Pronoun

Pronoun is a word that replaces a noun in a sentence. Using pronouns keeps you from repeating the same nouns over and over again ( Pronoun adalah kata yang dapat menggantikan suatu kata benda atau frasa kata benda. Kata ganti berfungsi menghindari pengulangan kata benda atau frasa kata benda yang sama yang telah disebut sebelumnya. )

Personal Pronoun

Pronoun dalam bahasa indonesia bisa diartikan sebagai kata ganti, kata ganti yang menunjukkan orang atau benda

Pertemuan kali ini kita hanya akan membahas fungsi dari personal Pronoun.

• Object

1. Nominative ( subjective) case.

personal pronoun ini berfungsi sebagai subject dalam kalimat yang terletak sebelum kata kerja ( verb) ataupun kata kerja bantu (auxilary verb)

contoh :

1. Fandi write a letter for me. ( He write a letter for me)

Fandi diganti menjadi He,( dia laki-laki)

2. Sita reads novel everyday. ( she reads novel everyday)

Sita diganti menjadi She (dia perempuan)

Dalam kalimat diatas. He dan she digunakan diawal kalimat atau sebagai subject dalam sebuah kalimat.

Objective case

Pronoun ini berfungsi sebagai Object atau pihak yang dituju dalam kalimat.

contoh:

1. The teacher ask me and Susi to do the homework.

the teacher ask us to do the homework

2. My mother loves me so much.

Dalam kalimat diatas. kata Us dan Me. adalah sebagai object.

Membuat kalimat dalam bahasa inggris tidak bisa meletakkan subject di tengah kalimat atau object diawal kalimat.

contoh :

1. I give a new hat for you.

tidak bisa ditulis sebagai. ( me give a new hat for you) karna I atau saya dalam kalimat tersebut adalah sebagai subject

2. she is my best friend.

akan salah jika Her is my best friend.

1. Subjective pronoun adalah kata ganti orang yang berfungsi sebagai subjek. Subjective pronoun antara lain adalah I, you, he, she, it, we, dan they.

2. Objective pronoun

Objective adalah kata ganti milik (orang atau benda) yang berfungsi sebagai “object”. Dengan kata lain “kata ganti milik yang dikenai tindakan”.

Contoh: I make a cake. I make it delicious.

3. Possessive Pronoun
