Hibernation - state of inactivity
Diurnal - active during day
Nocturnal - active during night
Types of Patterns
5
Migrating is the movement from one place to a different place, typically over long distances. Migration behavior is usually the result of changes in the environment—for example, cooler temperatures or the availability of food.
Why would a bird leave an area during cooler temperatures?
Salmon, whales, monarch butterflies all migrate!!
Migration
6
