C. Struktur Teks Recount:

  1. Orientation: Memperkenalkan siapa yang terlibat, apa yang terjadi, di mana, dan kapan. Ini memberikan latar belakang cerita.

    • Contoh: Last holiday, my family and I went to Bali.

  2. Events: Menceritakan serangkaian peristiwa yang terjadi, biasanya dalam urutan kronologis.

    • Contoh: First, we visited Tanah Lot. Then, we went to Kuta Beach and enjoyed the sunset. After that, we had dinner at a local restaurant. The next day, we tried surfing lessons...

  3. Re-orientation (Opsional): Berisi komentar pribadi penulis tentang pengalaman tersebut, atau kesimpulan dari cerita.

    • Contoh: It was truly an unforgettable experience. I hope to visit Bali again soon.

D. Unsur Kebahasaan (Language Features) Recount Text:

  1. Penggunaan Simple Past Tense: Menggunakan kata kerja bentuk kedua karena ceritanya terjadi di masa lalu.

    • Contoh: I went, we saw, they played, I felt happy.

  2. Penggunaan Action Verbs: Kata kerja yang menunjukkan tindakan.

    • Contoh: walked, climbed, ate, swam, ran, visited.

  3. Penggunaan Time Connectives / Sequencers: Kata-kata yang menunjukkan urutan waktu.

    • Contoh: First, Then, Next, After that, Before, While, Finally, On Sunday, In the morning.

  4. Penggunaan Adverbs dan Adjectives: Untuk memberikan deskripsi lebih detail.

My Camping Trip
