Imagine you see a commercial on TV for a new toy. At the end of the commercial, the people who made it usually tell you what they want you to do next.

That part is called a “call to action.”

A call to action is basically the ad saying:

“Now go do this!”

For example:

  • “Ask your parents to buy this toy!”

  • “Visit our store today!”

It’s the encouraging message that tells you what the company wants you to do after seeing the ad.

So a call to action is like when a friend says, “Come play with me!”

They’re inviting you to do something—just like ads do.
