Please read the following:

Armani stepped through the gates of Disney with wide eyes and a huge smile. Everywhere she looked, bright colors and cheerful music filled the air. She held her map tightly as she tried to decide where to go first. Part of her wanted to race to the castle, but another part of her was excited to try the big roller coaster she had heard so much about.

As Armani explored the park, everything felt new and full of adventure. Characters waved at her, and the smell of popcorn drifted through the air. She rode several rides, and even though a few made her stomach flip, she didn’t want the day to end. Being at Disney made Armani feel excited, brave, and ready for more fun.

Question image

How does the narrator’s use of third-person point of view help the reader better understand Armani’s experience at Disney?

1

It lets Armani speak directly to the reader so they know exactly how she feels.

2

It allows the reader to see Armani’s actions and feelings from an outside perspective, giving a clearer picture of her excitement and bravery.

3

It keeps the reader from knowing anything about Armani’s emotions or thoughts.

4

It makes the story confusing because the narrator switches between characters.
