All web pages and web sites are held in servers across the entire globe.
A DNS (Domain Name Server) is used to find the corresponding IP Address for the domain name you are looking for. Google, YouTube, Amazon, etc.

Look closely at the image. What exactly are we seeing here?
8
A server room is a secure, dedicated space where a company's computer servers and networking equipment are housed and maintained. (Like the room we couldn't get permission to visit, and a smaller version of the Google server farms we looked at)
It provides a controlled environment with cooling, backup power, and security to ensure the equipment runs reliably and is protected from power outages and other threats.

This is an ethernet.
An ethernet contains a copper wire.
Copper wire cables are what brings the internet signal into our homes and businesses.
The name ethernet actually refers to the port connection, not the cable itself. But ethernet is a widely accepted and understood name for the copper wire cable.

There are many misconceptions about what exactly the internet and the world wide web are.
Provide some clarity and explain the difference.
16
The common misconception is that the internet and the world wide web are the same thing.
As we've established, The world wide web is a collection of servers, a digital database of information.
The internet is the means to connect these servers together, networking multiple LAN and WAN connected networks across the globe accessible via miles and miles of fibre optic cables.
17
Working in teams on your whiteboards, use illustrations and annotations to create a mind map that demonstrates the following.
"What exactly happens when you stream a movie to your bedroom from any streaming platform (Netflix, Prime TV, Apple TV, etc).
Additional points will be awarded for each accurate use of Computer Science terminology/vocabulary. Correct devices and equipment listed. And accuracy to process, functions and systems.
