Read the following:

Dominic loved playing hockey more than anything. Every Saturday, he practiced with his team for hours, skating up and down the rink, passing the puck, and taking shots on goal. He noticed that the more he practiced, the better he became. His teammates also improved, and the team started winning more games. Dominic realized that consistent effort and teamwork were helping everyone get better.

One weekend, Dominic faced his toughest opponent yet. The other team was fast and skilled, and Dominic knew his team had to work together carefully. He remembered the drills they practiced and passed the puck to his teammates at the right moments. By the end of the game, Dominic’s team won by a narrow margin. Dominic learned that practice alone wasn’t enough—cooperation and smart decisions on the ice were just as important as skill.
