A robot is not just a piece of metal. It is a hard worker that does exactly what you say, but it doesn't think for itself.

Have you ever wondered why a vacuum robot doesn't fall down the stairs, or how a Mars rover knows where to go?

It’s all because robots follow special rules called Algorithms."

​An algorithm is a list of steps to get a job done.

What is robot logic? Imagine you want to teach a robot to brush its teeth. It doesn’t know what 'brush your teeth' means.


It needs clear commands:

1. Walk to the sink.

2. Pick up the brush with your left hand.

3. If there is no toothpaste on the brush — squeeze some out.

4. Move the brush left and right 20 times (this is a Loop)."
