Why does the Professor say that "we must assume" that Lucy is telling the truth about Narnia?

• Because he doesn't believe in Narnia but Lucy begged him to tell the others there was such a place.
• Because Lucy had a screaming fit demanding they believe her or she would run away.
• Because the professor feels like Lucy has not gone mad and isn't known for telling lies, why would she lie about Narnia?
• Because the Professor feels like Lucy has gone out of her mind and is afraid of what might happen if they showed their disbelief.

How do Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy all wind up in Narnia at the same time?

• They followed Lucy inside the wardrobe because they did not believe she was telling the truth about Narnia.
• The White Witch sent the Captain of the Secret Police to kidnap the children and bring them to her.
• The children fell asleep and entered Narnia through their dreams.
• The children were hiding from Ms. Macready and the tour she was leading around the professor's house.

Why does Peter call Edmund a "poisonous little beast" when they get to Narnia?

What do the children discover has happened to Mr. Tumnus?

• The White Witch found out he had lied to her and was holding him under arrest awaiting a trial on the charge of treason.

• Edmund was friends with the beaver since he had met him on his first trip to Narnia.
