What does my case manager do?

• Manages your IEP paperwork and talks to your parents and teachers.
• Manages your life.
• Watches everything you do.
• Makes sure you don't fail any classes. 

How did I get an IEP?

• My schoolwork did not meet grade-level expectations.
• I received too many behavior referrals last school year.
• Qualified for special education after academic or behavioral concerns from y parents and/or teachers.
• My teachers didn't like me last year.

Why do student's with disabilities need an IEP?

• To give their teachers something to do.
• Schools like a lot of papers.
• My case manager wanted to write one.
• It's the law.

What is the purpose of an IEP?

• To support my individual needs.
• To make my life hard.
• To let my case manager and teachers talk about me.
• To support the needs of everyone.

How is an IEP written?

• I write it.
• My teachers just make stuff up.
• With the IEP team at the meeting.
• The IEP team emails the case manager with their ideas and the case manager decides.

Who comes to an IEP meeting?

• Me, Tally, and my case manager
• Parent(s), student, teachers, administrator
• Whoever wants to come
• My mom, My PE teacher, and Me.

How often is an IEP meeting usually held?

• Every 3 months
