Jake had spent the entire weekend outside riding his skateboard. Now that he was crawling into bed, he could feel the weekend wearing on him - instead of feeling refreshed and ready to go back to school, his bones were aching, his face burned, and the band aids on his knees felt stiff under his pajamas. He began to think he should just give up - no matter how hard he tried, maybe skateboarding just wasn't the right hobby for him.
