The Final battle of the American Revolution.  Washington trapped Cornwallis here.  After 1 month, Cornwallis surrendered and the war was over.  Had the French not entered the war, this may not have happened.  The French ships took out the British blockade along the Atlantic coast.  This surprised Cornwallis.

The turning point of the of the American Revolution.  After this victory, the French will join in on the side of the Patriots.

This battle was one where Washington and the Patriot troops snuck out after dark and crawled out without the British knowing it.

This battle was one when the continental army came up with the idea of "don't shoot until you see the whites of their eyes."  They had to do this because they didn't have hardly any ammo.  So they held the hill and the British charged up and got turned back 2x.  The 3rd time, they took the hill, b/c the patriots left the hill (as the patriots ran out of ammo).

This is the Shot heard round the world.  It started the Revolution.  When British troops came to seize arms from the people.  The weapons were moved and when the British began to burn down the town, the fighting began.
