"Miranda's face was brighter than the sun when she saw John walk into the room."

• Miranda dislikes John and wants revenge.
• Miranda has a sunburnt face.
• Miranda has feelings for John, and is happy that he is there.
• John slapped Miranda across the cheek when he walked in the room.

Analyze the meaning:
"All eyes on me just like the center ring in a circus."

• She is going to a circus.
• The class is as chaotic as a circus.
• She enjoys having everyone look at her, to be the center of attention.
• She is shy and wishes no one would look at her.

When I heard that my sister broke the case of roses and didn't admit it, I was surprised because she's usually such an angel.
