What is the most important safety drill rule?

• Run and hide.
• Be quiet and listen for instructions.
• Don't open the door.
• Shut the door behind you.

You hear 3 short bells. What do they mean?

• Fire Drill
• Intruder in the Building Drill
• Tornado Drill
• Lock Down Drill

For a fire drill we do all of the following:

• Line up quickly and quietly, turn off all lights, close the door behind you, and evacuate building, 
• Get to protected area away from glass or shelves, and cover head.
• Lock and shut door, turn off lights, hide and remain quiet. Don't open the door.
• Line up quickly and quietly, do NOT turn off anything electrical, close door behind you and evacuate the building.

How will we know there's an intruder in the building?

• By an announcement
• 3 short bells
• 1 long bell
• By looking on FaceBook

What do we do in a Lock Down?

• Lock and shut door, stay in class and continue as usual until further instructions.
• Locke and shut door, get to protected area, and cover head. 
• Evacuate building after turning off all electrical equipment and shutting door.
• Lock and shut door, stay in class, and chill.

You hear one long bell. What does it mean?

• Tornado Drill
• Fire Drill
• Intruder in the Building
• Bomb Drill

Bomb drills and fire drills are very similar. What do we never do for a bomb drill that we always do for a fire drill?

• Turn off all electrical equipment and lights.
• Shut the door.
• Evacuate the building.
• Hide in a protected area.

During a Black Out, what is the most important rule to follow?

• Stay calm.
• Run outside.
• Scream loudly so everyone will know where you are.
• Hide in a protected area.

How will we know we are having a bomb threat drill?

• An announcement will be made.
• 1 long and 1 long bell
• 3 long bells
• Someone will come to the class to tell us.

When we evacuate the building we

• line up and walk out quietly and orderly.
• run to the exits as quickly as possible.
