Review of Procedures

What are the procedures for the mornings?

• Come in, talk to a friend, leave bookbag at my desk, forget my HW folder, walk around the room
• Come in, unpack quietly, use the restroom, leave my HW in my bookbag
• Come in, unpack quietly, use restroom before 8, turn in HW to the HW basket, do morning work, read quietly when finished
• Play in the hall until 8, come in loudly, run around the room, jump rope on the toilet while it flushes

What are the hallway procedures?

• Run with scissors while taking candy from a stranger
• Walk in the grey, face forward, hands and feet to self, no talking
• Talking while walking down middle of the hall
• Walk in any order, rub hands on the wall while talking quietly to a friend

What are the bathroom procedures?

• 3 at a time, quiet, keep restroom clean, wash hands when finished and line up quietly in the hall
• Try to pee while jump-roping on the toilet and leave without washing hands
• Talk quietly to friends while waiting in the hall, 3 at a time, keep restroom clean, wash hands when finished and line up quietly in the hall
• Everyone in at one time, wash hands when you leave

What are our transition procedures?

• Ignore the fact that you have even been in class and continue to doodle like you just did for the past hour
• Get out a book and read as long as you want to, ignoring the fact you have an exit ticket due, and then take 10 minutes to get ready when the teacher starts the lesson
• Quietly put away current subjects materials and get out next subjects materials. Complete any task assigned by the teacher, such as an exit ticket, while waiting for the next subject to begin
• Shove all the papers from ELA into your desk and get out all your other notebooks. Take notes in the wrong notebook then rip them out and shove them into your desk as well.

What are our end of day procedures?

• Pack up quietly. Make sure you have all HW, and papers to take home in your book bag. Clean up the area around your desk. Make sure trashcans are by the door. Read quietly until dismissed. We dismiss with silent halls
• Play around until the bell rings then rush around to make it to the bus. Forget all your papers and HW here at school.
• Play around the water fountain and restroom after recess until the bell rings then leave without going back to class to get your things
• Walk around the room and talk as loudly as possible until the bell rings.

What are our lunch procedures?

• Run around the lunchroom and whisper to my friends. Quietly sit anywhere I want to. Eat other peoples food without asking them.
• Talk loudly and sit anywhere i want. Share my food with all my friends and leave a huge mess when lunch is over.
• Start a food fight with a hamburger and end it by showering Mr. Bullins with Jello
• Sit with hands and feet to self. Talk in a normal voice, no yelling. Be responsible for my food, no sharing, and do not throw or play with my food. If I make a mess, I will clean it up.
