• No- many feared a central government would be tyrannical
• Yes- people were cool with it, dump all problems on one government.

• No- Are you kidding they were just getting started with problems.
• Yes- absolutely, we solved them all.

• Yes- of course it did.
• No- it didn't do anything about that.

• No- Many thought states could  handle the job.
• Yes- They wanted a strong central leadership.

• Yes- War is expensive
• No- They were able to sell tobacco and cotton to pay for it.

• No- They all had loans too.
• Yes- States taking out loans never heard such a thing.

• No- He was Secretary of the Treasury.
• Yes-  Got shot in a duel with Aaron Burr.

Did the federal government take responsibility for the states loans?

• Yes- They did get the states off the hook.
• No- They left to pay off the loans individually.

• Yes- The Whiskey Rebellion was no joke.
• No- No Tax on booze ever.

Did the tax on liquor fix the financial problems in United States?

• Yes- Congress repealed because it was a success.
• No- it didn't because Congress just keeps on spending money...
