Coleman's class routines and procedures

Walking around the room and talking to your friends is what you should do after you finish a test.

• It's ok if everyone else is still taking the test.

• It's ok if everyone is finished the test.

Always leave your finished assignments on the teacher's desk.

When visitors enter the room, you should ...

• Use the opportunity to get loud
• Carry on with your assignment
• Use the opportunity to get off task
• Get up and walk around the room

After an absence...

• It is the student's responsibility to find what was missed.
• Go to the make up work drawer and find what was missed.
• Ask 3 of your peers what you missed.
• All of the above.

When you want to go to the restroom, just get up and leave the room.

• That is not the procedure

• Sure.

• That's fine, as long as you sign out on the clipboard.

• While you are up, tap every student on the head as you leave.

To go to the restroom, fill out your agenda, give the R signal, and wait for Mrs. Coleman's acknowledgement.

Students should not talk during fire drills so everyone can hear important information.

When walking in the hallway, it's ok to talk loudly and stop at the classroom doors to gain attention of other students.
