Why is this a logical fallacy: 
"Senator Jones says that we should not fund the attack submarine program. I disagree entirely. I can't understand why he wants to leave us defenseless like that."

• It is showing Senator Jones is an authority on submarines.
• Submarines are popular.
• It changes the argument to something else. 
• It stereotypes submarines.
