Series and parallel circuits

• Series circuit - Bulbs are lit
• Series circuit - Bulbs are off
• Parallel circuit - Bulbs are lit
• Parallel circuit - Bulbs are off

• Bulbs are in parallel - Circuit X is brighter than Circuit Y
• Bulbs are in parallel - Circuit Y is brighter than Circuit X
• Bulbs are in series - Circuit X is brighter than Circuit Y
• Bulbs are in series - Circuit Y is brighter than Circuit X
