What are the three steps to conjugation?

• Add an s or es depending on the subject.
• Add an o for boys, an a for girls and an s for plurals.
• Take off the Ar. ER, Ir, find the subject and put on new ending.

What is a stem change verb?

• A regular verb that follows the rules of conjugation.
• A verb that has a vowel change in the stem.
• A verb that describes flower stems.

What is an irregular verb?

• A verb that does not follow the regular rules of conjugation.
• A verb that you use in the present tense.
• A verb that people normally don't use in English.

In which form do you not do a stem change?

Why are stem change verbs also called "shoe" or "boot" verbs?

• These verbs deal with clothing and footwear.
• When you draw around the forms that do get stem changed, it looks like a shoe or boot.
• Because my teacher says weird things about verbs.
