How did the Lenape get to NJ?

• The Lenape crossed a land bridge from Asia to North America.
• The Lenape traveled north in search of food.
• The Lenape traveled along roadways to reach NJ.
• The Lenape sailed across the Pacific Ocean.

What led to the decline of the Lenape?

• The Lenape moved away because they wanted a change.
• The Europeans took the Lenape land and they brought diseases to the Lenape that were deadly to the Native Americans.
• The construction of factories and malls.

Why was New Jersey a great place to settle?

• New Jersey has shopping malls and roadways.
• New Jersey has many natural resources such as rich soil, forests, a variety of water sources.
• New Jersey is a beautiful rainforest.
