Syllabus/safety quiz

Goggles should be worn:

• always in a chemistry class, including during tests and quizzes

• when instructed by Camp due to students working with hazardous chemicals

• only when you feel like it

• should be treated with caution, it may be a dangerous chemical
• should be ingested as soon as possible

Food and drinks

• should consumed outside of class
• are not allowed in chemistry class
• all of these answers are correct

What should you do if you accidentaly break something that is glass, such as a beaker. 

• immediatly pick up the broken glass with your bare hands. 
• pretend it was not you that broke the glass
• let Camp know so he can get a broom and dustpan

After finishing a lab, you should: 

• wash your hands with soap and water
• clean up your work stations
• put away lab materials
• all of these are correct

Which of the following catagories is weighted the greatest in this class? 

• labs
• classwork/homework
• tests/quzzes/projects
• final exam

Where can you check your grades?  

• Aeries
• Ask a friend
• Ask Mr. Camp
• Who checks their grades?

Test retakes:

• are not an option
• can be done at any time, including during class time
• can be done during office hours after filling out a retake form and attending a tutorial. 

You should bring the following to class everyday

• a charged Chromebook
• a notebook/3 ring binder
• pen or pencil
• all of these are correct

Horseplay/practical jokes/ pranks during labs:

• are encouraged in Chemistry class
• will result in a zero on the lab and you being sent to IC
• are ok as long as Camp does not see the practical joke
