The Lemonade War--Chapters 9 and 10

When Evan got home from his terrible experience with the cooler of lemondate, what did he do?

• He went to the beach
• He had fun with Megan at the beach
• He went into Jessie's room and took her money.  He wasn't planning on keeping it.
• He went to Jessie's room and realized that she had money and took it to keep.

When Jessie was at the beach, she wasn't having very much fun.  Why?

Figurative language helps a reader understand how a character feels.  On page 146 it stated that "the lemonade sparkled in the sunlight like a bejeweled waterfall."
