What is a paired passage?

• Only one passage
• 2 passages that have questions on each passage and questions that compare and contrast both passages.

What is the first step when reading a paired passage?

• Read the Title, look at Illustrations or pictures, and identify the types of passage. (Poem, Drama, Biography, Informational, Narrative)
