Word Function Keys

Keys used in combination with other keys to access functions that are built in word processor

• Home
• End
• Control (Ctrl)
• F1

Moves the cursor up, down, left, right

• Insert
• Enter
• Backspace
• Arrow Keys

Moves the cursor one character to left and deletes that character

• Backspace
• Enter
• Delete
• Insert

Key locks the alphabetic keys in upperscase (all capital letters)

• Num Lock
• Caps lock
• Arrow
• Delete

Key removes text directly in front of the cursor

• Backspace
• Delete
• End
• Insert

Key toggles between insert mode and type over mode (overstrike mode)

Key allows you to use the numberic keypad

Move the page up or down one screen at a time from current dispay

• Page up and Page Down

Moves cursor ahead a present number of spaces (5 spaces)

• Spacebar

Moves the cursor ahead one space at a time
