How should you enter the classroom?

After you walk into the room quietly, where do you

Once you are in your seat, what do you start right away?

• talking

• reading
• bellwork

If you do not have your chromebook, how do you complete bellwork?

• fill out a pass to get your chromebook
• don't do the bellwork
• quietly get out a sheet of paper and do it on paper

When doing the bellwork, what do you write down every day?

• the OLO
• your name
• the class period

When you're finished with the bellwork, what should you do next?

• talk to a friend
• read or work on missing work
• sit there and not do anything

When asking to leave the classroom, how do you get the teacher's attention?

• quietly raise your hand 
• shout out the teachers name
• walk up to the teacher and ask them

How do you ask to leave the classroom? 

• Look at the person, quietly raise your hand, wait calmly to be called on, ask your question, fill out a pass 
• Raise your hand, shout the teacher's name, get their attention  
• look at the person, wave your hand in the air, shout the teacher's name

When you have permission to the leave the room, how do you do so appropriately? 

• walk around the room so other people can see you leaving
• walk silently out of the classroom
• Wait a few minutes and leave when you're ready to, and talk to others on the way out

When being dismissed, how do you exit the classroom? 

• wait for the teacher to dismiss, quietly stand up, push in your chair, walking quietly exit the classroom.  
• stand up and leave, and push in your chair as you leave 
• run out of the classroom
