Keyboarding Posture

Your keyboard should align directly in front of

• straight and back in the chair
• leaning forward
• slouched down for comfort
• a handspan from the keyboard

Your elbows should be

• resting on the keyboard
• at a 45 degree angle away from your body
• at your sides in a natural position
• centered in front of the home row

Your fingers should be

• curved and upright on the home row keys
• flat and relaxed on the home row keys

Strike the space bar with the

• left thumb
• right thumb
• rght index finger
• whichever finger you wish
