Choking:  What is a symptom that someone has a MILD form of choking.

• The can't talk
• They can't breathe
• They have blue lips 
• They are wheezing and gagging

What is a symptom of SEVERE choking?

• They are able to speak
• They have wheezing and gagging
• They are coughing
• They cannot speak

What is the treatment for someone that has a MILD choking problem?

• Call 9-1-1
• Give the person "J" thrusts to remove the item
• Encourage them to keep coughing
• Give them back blows with your hand.

What does RICE stand for?

• Rest, Intelligence, Cough, Elevation
• Rest, Immobilize, Cold, Elevation
• Run, Interest, Cold, Energy

What does a first degree burn look like?

• skin is pink and dry looking
• skin has blisters
• skin has no pain
• skin is moist and red

What are some symptoms of a 3rd degree burn?

• Skin is raw and red there is a lot of pain
• Skin is dry and pinkish 
• Skin has many blisters and is painful
• skin is pearly white, tan, or black coloured, and no pain

What is the treatment for treating a burn?

• Lie down and take a rest
• Bundle up and stay warm
• Cool the burn right away and loosen or remove anything on the burn
• Put butter on the burn to soothe the injury

How can poison get in your body? 

• You look at it
• Read about it
• Can be swallowed, absorbed, or injected
• Talk about it

What is the treatment for a wasp or bee sting?

• Pull out the stinger then squeeze the venom out
• Put a Band-aid on the injury
• Remove the stinger then apply some ice
• Nothing.. it will heal itself
