How many minutes does your monologue need to be

• 3 minutes
• 1 minute
• 10 minutes

What is considered the best way to memorize you lines

• Writing the lines / script out 
• Reading it only once
• thinking you got it after looking at it
• I have photographic memory

How should your introduction start?

• State your name, the name of the piece and the author
• Just start right into the scene
• Jump around for a few minutes
• take three deep breaths and say your name

The second part of your introduction consists of?

• Looking down at the stage or turning around for a brief second and then face the audience
• Exit stage left then make an entrance
• Step off stage and come back up from the audience
• say "Hi ok I'm ready

When you have completed your scene, you should do what?

• Bow to the audience
• Say the word "scene" and then look down or turn around.
• Applaud the audience
• Sit down on stage
